Ingredients of Mom's Meatloaf

  1. Make ready 2 lb of ground beef.
  2. Make ready 2 of large eggs.
  3. Take 1 packages of crackers.
  4. It’s 1 of medium chopped onion.

Mom's Meatloaf instructions

  1. Combine ingredients in bowl and firmly mix with hands to incorporate eggs,onions,and crackers into ground beef.
  2. Press into pan making a loaf shape approximately 2 inches thick.
  3. Cover entirentir top and sides with a thick covering of catsup.
  4. Pour water around sides about 1/3 the height of the Meatloaf… do not forget this step !… a lot will evaporate away and this is what makes the difference in a moist meatloaf instead of a dry tough one !.
  5. Bake uncovered, one rack up from center of oven at 350°F for 1 hour..
