Stuffed Dahi Vada Chaat Recipe. Stuffed Dahi vada is a popular chaat or Punjabi recipe with fried vadas( urad dal dumplings) soaked in water and then topped with delectable mix of chilled beaten curd and a couple of spicy and tangy chutneys. Dahi Vada or Dahi Bhalla is a very delicious and spicy chaat prepared with dry fruit stuffed urad dal vadas dipped in yogurt and topped with sweet and sour.

Ingredients of Stuffed Dahi Vada Chaat
- You need of split black lentils (urad dal).
- Make ready of ginger- garlic- green chilli paste.
- Take of asafoetida (hing).
- It’s of (Stuffing):-.
- You need of chopped cashew nuts.
- Prepare of almond chopped.
- It’s of raisins.
- It’s of pomegranate (anaar).
- Make ready of red apple chopped.
- Prepare of (For curd mixture):-.
- Prepare of chilled curd (dahi).
- It’s of sugar.
- Prepare of black salt.
- Take of Cumin powder (sahi jeera).
- Take of Red chilli powder.
- Prepare of Salt.

- It’s of coriander leaves (daniya patti).
- You need of Aloo bhujia.
- You need of chaat masala.
- Make ready of Oil for deep frying vadas.
In simple language you can say that it is an Indian dumplings.Traditionally, Dahi Vada is prepared by frying in oil.Soaking fried Dahi Vada in water removes excess oil.Still, if you do not prefer fried Chaat then these Dahi Vadas cooked in steam are specially for you.
Stuffed Dahi Vada Chaat instructions
- First wash and soak urad dal in a bowl for 3 hours. After drain well and blend with greenchilles add very little water in a mixer..
- Transfer the dal mixture into a bowl add ginger-garlic paste, hing, salt mix well..
- Wet a deep ladle with water pour 1 tbsp batter in it add stuffing in the centre and pour 1 more tbsp batter over it, drop it in hot oil for deep fry,till golden brown in colour..
- Note:-(Or u can make your hand wet with water and take 1 tbsp batter and make small pit and our stuffing in between close it with a tbsp batter and deep fry them).
- Drain off in a kitchen paper after this soak the vadas in a water for 15 minutes. Squeeze out and drain all the excess water. Keep aside..
- Now Take a serving dish or bowl arrange stuffed vadas. Spread beaten curd. Sprinkel a little red chilli Powder, chaat masala, Cumin powder, fresh Coriander leaves, Aloo bhujia..
- Serve immediately..
