Rub the chicken with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.Place the chicken in a small roasting pan.And so here we are: Simple Roast Chicken with Garlic and Lemon.

Place the six lemon halves (if they'll fit!) and the three remaining rosemary leaves into the cavity of the bird.Skin should be deep golden brown and juices should be sizzling.Remove giblets and excess fat from the chicken cavity.Dry chicken thoroughly with paper towels.Season chicken cavity with salt and pepper, to taste.
