- Prepare 1 cup of all purpose flour.

Dal Dhokli is a traditional Gujarati dish.This recipe consists of spicy whole wheat uncooked roti pieces simmered into dal and cooked to perfection.It has soft textured dhokli submerged in semi thick dal like lentil gravy and has mild sweet and spicy taste of aromatic spices and crunchy peanuts.While dal is cooking, prepare dough for dhokli.

- Soak the lentil for 30 minutes and have 4 whistles properly by adding double estimated water and peanut.
- Add salt and turmeric when turn the gas to boil the lentil.
- Now roast them and add tomatoes with all the left spices together.
- Now simmer the tadka for 10 minutes..
- Take all purpose flour and mix carom seeds,pinch of salt,black pepper,turmeric and oil.
- Now mix with the help of water and make a hard dough.
- Rest for 15 minutes and after that make flat thin layer and cut the diamond shape small pieces.
- Now boil the lentil and whisk openly.add these diamond shaped pieces and jaggery piece.boil openly for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Delicious daal dhokli is ready.
