- How to make jeera aloo Heat a pan ghee. Add jeera and allow them to splutter..

- Reduce the flame to low. Then add in hing, turmeric, chilli powder, jeera powder, daniya powder, salt..
- Also add in kasuri methi. Saute till fragrant. For just few minutes..
- Add in the boiled and diced potatoes.Toss them gently and cover the pan. Cook for 2 to 3 mins on a low heat. Sprinkle coriander leaves and lime juice..
- How to Make Poori (Puri)
Mix all the ingredients and knead it into hard dough.Knead for a few minutes and rest the dough for 30 minutes..
- Divide the dough into portions of 25 grams each and form into balls.Roll out the balls into circles with a rolling pin..
- In a deep skillet heat oil. When the oil is hot drop in a poori and spoon hot oil on it continually until it puffs up. Then gently turn it upside down and let it fry till golden brown..
- Serve hot with achar and jeera aloo.
