  1. Melt shortening and set it aside to cool.

  5. Stir in an additional 2 cups of flour.

  15. Divide dough into 5 equal pieces and place into greased bread pans.
  16. Cover dough and allow it to rise for 45 minutes. It should be about 1 inch above the top of the pan..
