- Prepare 2 blocks of firm tofu cut into long slices.
- Take 2 cups of chopped mushrooms.

- Take 1 cup of marsala cooking wine.
- You need 2 tbsp of chopped shallots.
- It’s 1 tbsp of thyme.
- You need 2 Tbsp of corn flour plus more for dusting.
- Take of pepper.
- You need of salt.
- Take of olive oil or any cooking oil.
- Take 1 Tbsp of all purpose flour.
- Make ready 1 tbsp of tomato paste (optional).

Tofu mushroom marsala step by step
- Coat the tofu slices with corn flour, salt and pepper. Fry them in a pan with oil for 5 mins . Remove and keep a side.
- In the same pan, add oil and fry mushrooms, garlic , shallots, thyme for 3 to 4 mins.
- Add vegetable/chicken stock, and cook for few mins.
- Add the marsala wine and simmer for 5 mins. Add 1tbsp tomato paste optional. Check for taste and add salt accordingly.
- Add 2 tbsp corn flour and 1 tbsp all purpose flour in some water and add to the pan and mix well till thickens.
- U can add fried tofu slices to the pan or arrange tofu on plate and pour the gravy over it. Bon appetite!!!.
