Ingredients of Thai Shrimps Curry
- It’s 500 grams of shrimps,shelled,devein.
- Take 2 of potato ,medium size,chop to bite size.
- Take 2/3 tbsp of red curry paste.
- Make ready 1 tsp of coriander seeds.
- You need 1/2 tbsp of curry powder.
- It’s 1 1/2 cup of coconut milk.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of sugar.
- It’s 3/4 tbsp of fishsauce.
- Make ready 6 of shallot,sliced.
- Make ready 1 of oil enough to fry shallots.
This is the quickest and easiest shrimp red Thai curry recipe ever.Great for an impressive dinner party, because it tastes great but hardly takes any time at all (especially if you buy your prawns already peeled).The secret ingredient in this curry is a hint of tomato in an otherwise basic yellow curry, which marries beautifully with shrimp.Transfer shrimp to a plate. (Shrimp will finish cooking in a later step.) Peel and devein shrimp, leaving tails on.

- Fry sliced shallots until light gold,remove to a bowl,left some in the frying pan.
- Pound coriander seeds with red chili paste and curry powder ,stir fry in pan until reddish ,good fagrance.
- Add little coconut milk, keep stiring ,add more coconut milk do this several time ,until 1 cup is in the pan.
- Add chopped potato,let it simmer about 10 mins ,add another half cup of coconut milk ,seasoning with sugar and fishsauce,let cook 5 more mins.
- Add shrimps,2 mins cook then stir to mix ,heat off,serve hot, top with crispy shallots and steamed jasmine rice :).
Found the green curry too mild so I added some red curry -still mild so maybe all red curry next time.Heat peanut oil in heavy large skillet over medium-high heat.Stirring, add the fish sauce and sugar, then the coconut milk and bring to a boil.
Sprinkle the curry powder over the onions and continue cooking the onions, stirring, for another couple of minutes.Reduce the heat to medium-low and pour in the coconut milk, stirring to combine.Add honey, salt, and lime juice, and allow the sauce to heat up until bubbling gently.This tasty shrimp curry is blanketed in the most luscious coconut red curry sauce and full of so much flavor!It's quick, easy, and crazy delicious!
