Ingredients of Chicken Parmesan

  1. Take 4 of each - 4-6 ounce chicken breast (About 1 inch thick).
  2. You need of Seasoned Flour Mixture.
  3. Take 1 cup of flour.
  4. You need 3/4 teaspoon of salt.
  5. Take 1/2 teaspoon of pepper.
  6. Make ready 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder.
  7. Prepare 1/2 teaspoon of oregano.
  8. It’s of Egg Wash.

  11. Prepare of Seasoned Bread Crumb Mixture.
  12. You need 1 cup of Panko bread crumbs.
  13. Prepare 2 tablespoons of oil.
  14. You need 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese.
  15. Take 1 teaspoon of oregano.
  16. You need 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder.
  17. You need 3/4 teaspoon of salt.
  18. Make ready 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.

  20. You need 16 ounces of Linguine pasta- follow the directions on the box.
  21. Prepare 24 ounces of favorite red sauce.
  22. It’s 2 ounces of Parmesan- if desired.
  23. Make ready 2 ounces of mozzrela cheese- if desired.

Place slices of mozzarella on top of chicken.In a shallow bowl, combine butter, mustard, Worcestershire sauce and salt.Place bread crumbs and cheese in another shallow bowl.Stir the oil and herbs in a small bowl to blend.

  1. Mix the egg and milk together to make the egg wash..
  2. Mix the flour, salt, pepper, garlic and oregano to make the seasoned flour mixture..
  3. Mix the bread crumbs,oil,Parmesan cheese,oregano,garlic powder,salt and pepper to make the season bread crumb mixture..
  4. Dip the chicken breast in the egg-wash then dip the chicken into the seasoned flour..
  5. Then dip back into the egg-wash and then into the seasoned bread crumb mixture coating both sides well. Place on a sheet tray and repeat for the next 3 chicken breast..
  6. In a skillet add enough oil to coat the bottom of the hot pan. Place the chicken in the pan and cook until lightly golden brown and delicious color on both sides,remove and place on a sheet pan and finish in a 350 degree oven. It takes about 20 minutes. The chicken should reach an internal temperature 165 degrees..
  7. I like to sprinkle Parmesan and mozzarella cheese on top of the chicken and let it melt in the last 10 minutes of cooking in the oven..
