Frittata Recipe. Frittatas have saved me on more hungry weeknights than I care to count. Frittatas are the ultimate clean-out-the-fridge weeknight dinner or weekend brunch recipe.
You can have Frittata using 9 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you achieve that.
Ingredients of Frittata
- Prepare 4 pieces of bacon chopped.
- You need 1 of onion chopped.
- You need 1 cup of mushrooms chopped.
- You need 1/4 of green pepper chopped.
- You need 1/4 of yellow pepper chopped.
- Take 1/4 of red pepper chopped.
- Make ready 3 cup of spinach washed.
- Take 4 of eggs.
- Take 1/2 cup of milk.
Italian-style omelets for stove top or oven.Great for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.Make this frittata even easier by using cooked bacon from the freezer.It's a wonderful dish to serve.
Frittata step by step
- You will need either cast iron or oven proof pan.preheat oven to 230 degrees. Fry bacon on medium heat and set aside once cooked. In same pan fry onion for till soft. Then add mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add some butter of oil dries up this also adds some flavour. Continue cooking by adding the peppers. Immediately after peppers add spinach and cook till it wilts..
- While spinach is cooking, in a separate bowl beat the eggs and kilt. Rerun the bacon to the spinach mix, stir it in. Then add the eggs. Swirl pan around so egg moved into pockets..
- Place on the oven and bake for 18-20 minutes. πππ.
