- It’s 3 of boiled potatoes.
- Take 1/4 cup of onion.
- It’s 1/4 cup of capsicum.
- Take 1/4 cup of coriander leaves.
- Make ready 2 tablespoons of chopped green chillies.
- It’s 15 of small cheese cubes cut.
- You need 1/4 cup of grated cheese.
- Make ready 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning.
- Take 1 teaspoon of chili flakes.
- Take 1 teaspoon of freshly crushed black pepper.
- It’s 2 tablespoons of corn flour.
- Prepare 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour.
- Make ready 1 cup of breadcrumbs.
- It’s 1/2 litre of Oil.
- It’s to taste of Salt.
Potato Cheese balls instructions
- Firstly boil the potatoes. It's easier if you do that in a pressure cooker..
- Fine chop all the vegetables as shown in the picture..
- Mash the boil potatoes in a bowl. Add all the chopped vegetables, followed by dried spices - Italian seasoning, black pepper, chilli flakes and salt. Then grate some cheese and mix everything well..
- Now take a spoonful of mashed potato mixture and dunk a cube of cheese in it. Coverage and roll it well. Get these balls ready as shown in the picture. I kept these in refrigerator for 15 minutes so that everything binds well..
- Now take a bowl, add corn flour, maida (all-purpose flour), salt and water and mix well..
- Get a plate of breadcrumbs ready. First coat these balls in breadcrumbs. Roll them well. Now dip them in the white paste, coat well and again roll over breadcrumbs..
- Once all the potato balls are ready, heat oil in the kadai for deep frying. The oil needs to be very hot. Fry these potato balls over medium flame. We know they are ready when you get this beautiful golden brown color and crispy texture..
- Now serve them hot with mayonnaise dip..
