Ingredients of Mashed Potatoes and Rutabagas
- Take 3 lb of rutabagas, peeled and cut into 2-inch pieces.
- You need 2 1/2 lb of potatoes, peeled and cut into 2-inch pieces (about 5 or 6 medium).

- Prepare 2/3 cup of milk.
- It’s 1/4 tsp of pepper.
- You need 1/4 tsp of nutmeg.

In large pot, bring potatoes, rutabagas and enough salted water to cover to a boil.Using hand masher or potato ricer, mash potato mixture until smooth.Strain the rutabagas and potatoes from the water and pass through a food mill into a large bowl.In a small saucepot, bring the cream to a boil and turn off.
