Hey everyone, welcome to my recipe site. Today I will show you how to prepare a special dish, Masa/waina. This is one of my favourite food recipe, this time i’am gonna make it a little bit tasty. This will be really delicious.

Masa/waina Recipe. Waina is basically a slightly fermented rice meal that is accompanied with a Nigerian soup like. Masa or Waina is a rice cake that is from the northern part of Nigeria and is traditionally eaten by the Hausa tribe.

You can have Masa/waina using 8 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you achieve it.

Ingredients of Masa/waina

1. You need 2 cups of tuwo rice.
2. It’s of Tuwo.
3. It’s of Water.
4. Prepare of Onions.
5. Make ready of Pepper.
6. Take Tablespoon of Yeast.
7. Take 1 teaspoon of Baking powder.
8. Prepare Half of cup Sugar.

4. After fermentatiin for 2hrs stir. Add sugar and baking powder. Start frying using the traditional "tanda" meant for waina/masa. Put a spoonful in each whole until brown/golden. Then flip..
